Forest Economics

The activities of this Division have been focussed on cost and performance investigations in the Agrarian Associations in the Tyrol and in Vorarlberg for a long time. In addition, economic assessments of silvicultural operations as well as of fertilisation and improvement measures and of abiotic and biotic damage are carried out.
Economic effects of various regeneration systems are assessed using particular experimental designs.
