As of 1st June, 2002, the full name will be "<STRONG>Austrian Federal Forest Office and Research and Training Centre for Forests, Natural Hazards and Landscape </STRONG>. The short name laid down in the Forest Act will read as follows: "Austrian Federal Office and Research Centre for Forests ". <H3>Administrative Body and Training Centre</H3> As distinguished from the existing Centre, the Austrian Federal Office and Research Centre for Forests will be administrative body and training centre, which is due to the fact that both forest training centres (Ort and Ossiach) have been integrated to the Centre.
