The library of the
Federal Research and Training Centre for Forests, Natural Hazards and Landscape is the biggest
technical library in the field of forest experimentation in Austria and among
the most important forest libraries of Europe.
It goes back to 1874,
the year when the former Federal Forest Research Centre was established and
comprises a rich collection of scientific literature covering the research
areas of the BFW.
